Experience one of the most iconic activities at Victoria Falls with a visit to Livingstone Island, including the famous Devil’s Pool when water levels permit.
Livingstone Island is located on the edge of Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River and is the exact spot where the Scottish explorer Dr. David Livingstone first viewed the Falls in 1855. This exclusive experience allows guests to access the island and enjoy spectacular views directly at the edge of the world’s largest curtain of falling water.
Guests are collected from their hotel in Livingstone (Zambia) or Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) and transferred to the Livingstone Island launch site. From there, a short boat ride takes guests across the Zambezi River to Livingstone Island.
Depending on seasonal water levels, guests may have the opportunity to swim in the Devil’s Pool, a natural rock pool right on the edge of the Falls, under the supervision of experienced guides.
After exploring the island and enjoying the breathtaking scenery, guests are served a delicious three-course lunch on Livingstone Island, making this a truly unforgettable and unique experience.
The entire activity lasts approximately 3–4 hours including transfers and boat transfers.
