Discover Namibia’s three most iconic destinations on this unforgettable 7-day guided safari from Windhoek. Combining exceptional wildlife viewing, breathtaking desert landscapes and the charming Atlantic coast, this itinerary is ideal for first-time visitors wanting to experience the very best of Namibia in one journey.

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s premier wildlife reserves. Spend two nights at Etosha Safari Camp while enjoying an afternoon sunset game drive and a full day exploring the park in search of elephants, lions, black rhinos, giraffes, zebras, springbok, oryx and many other fascinating species.

Continue west to the coastal town of Swakopmund, where German colonial architecture meets the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy time at leisure to discover cafés, local markets and the waterfront or choose from a variety of optional activities including Sandwich Harbour 4×4 excursions, catamaran cruises, Living Desert tours, kayaking with seals, quad biking and scenic flights.

The journey then continues south into the spectacular Namib Desert, home to the world’s oldest desert and some of the tallest sand dunes on Earth. Explore the famous red dunes of Sossusvlei, walk through the ancient camel thorn trees of Deadvlei and visit the impressive Sesriem Canyon before returning to Windhoek.

Day 1 – Windhoek to Etosha National Park

Depart Windhoek and travel north through Namibia’s central highlands to Etosha National Park. Enjoy an afternoon sunset game drive before overnighting at Etosha Safari Camp.

Day 2 – Full Day Etosha Safari

Spend the entire day exploring Etosha National Park with your guide while searching for Namibia’s incredible wildlife around the famous waterholes.

Day 3 – Etosha to Swakopmund

Travel across Namibia’s changing landscapes to the Atlantic coast before arriving in Swakopmund for an evening at leisure.

Day 4 – Explore Swakopmund

Enjoy a free day to explore Swakopmund or join optional activities including Sandwich Harbour, marine cruises, Living Desert tours, sandboarding or quad biking.

Day 5 – Swakopmund to Sossusvlei

Journey through the spectacular Namib Desert before arriving at Namib Desert Lodge where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful desert surroundings.

Day 6 – Sossusvlei, Deadvlei & Sesriem Canyon

Rise early to experience sunrise over the famous red dunes. Visit Sossusvlei, Deadvlei and Sesriem Canyon before returning to the lodge for your final evening.

Day 7 – Return to Windhoek

After breakfast, travel through the scenic Khomas Highlands back to Windhoek where your Namibia Highlights Safari comes to an end.
